Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day. It's important for students to arrive on time each day.

Our bell times

Playground supervision operates from 8:25am each morning. Parents are welcome to wait until the bell to say goodbye to their child. We encourage students to arrive in the mornings with some time to play with a friend and say goodbye while they are happy.

If you need to drop your child off before 8.25am you may want to explore Out of School Hours Care (Team Kids)

Children are not to be on any play equipment before or after school. Morning play is restricted to the Green Zone, Blue Zone and Basketball Court playgrounds only.

Classes commence at 8:55am each day. A few minutes before this, music will begin to play, and all students assemble at designated areas for each class to be collected by their class teacher. If your child is late, they will need to go to the school office to sign in.

Lunch is from 11:20am to 12:00pm. The students stay with the class teachers for the first ten minutes to eat lunch and are then able to play.

Recess takes place from 1:30pm to 2:00pm

School finishes at 2:55pm for the whole school. There is no after school supervision, except for students catching school buses. Parents are advised to be on site at 2:45pm. If your child is not collected from the class pick-up spot by 3:10pm, they will be taken to the school office.

Teal, White & Silver Assemblies

At Spring Farm Public School, we use a whole school award system to recognise and celebrate student achievement in line with our school expectations of being safe, respectful, a learner and a problem solver.

Assemblies are held each Thursday in the school hall. Gates open at 2.10pm
